STELCO Announces Planned Power Interruptions in Malé and Hulhumalé Today

STELCO has announced the possible power outages in various areas of Malé and Hulhumalé Phase One today, as part of ongoing work to upgrade the electricity network.

In a post shared on social media platform X, STELCO detailed that the power disruptions in Malé are expected to occur between 09:30 and 11:30 hrs. The areas likely to be affected are Alikilegefaanu Magu, Kalhuhuraa Magu, and Bokarumaa Goalhi.

For Hulhumalé, power outages are scheduled between 13:30 and 15:00 hrs, specifically impacting Flat numbers 133 to 138 on Chan’beyli Magu Goalhi 3 and Asuruma Hin’gun.

STELCO has apologised for any inconvenience caused, emphasising that the upgrades are necessary to improve the reliability of the electricity network.
