Muizzu and Sajidha Depart on a State Visit to India

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed have departed on a state visit to the Republic of India. 

Muizzu’s state visit to India, from 6 to 10 October 2024, is at the official invitation of the President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

During this visit, Muizzu will hold high-level meetings with President Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other senior officials of the Indian government.

This is the first state visit Muizzu is undertaking to India, since assuming office last November.
