Dharavandhoo Council to Launch ‘Visit Dharavandhoo’ Campaign in 2025

Baa Atoll’s Dharavandhoo Council is set to launch a “Visit Dharavandhoo” campaign next year as part of efforts to promote local tourism on the island.

Council President Ali Sameeh revealed to Sun Media that a series of marketing activities are planned, with a new event taking place each month throughout 2025. These initiatives are designed to highlight the island’s appeal to tourists and increase its visibility as a travel destination.

An official event to unveil the campaign is scheduled for 24th October this year. During the event, the council will introduce the campaign’s logo and an accompanying song. Sun Media has partnered with the council for this campaign.

Sameeh further noted that the council’s long-term objective is to establish Dharavandhoo as a recognised tourist destination by 2030.
