Nominations Open for 2024 Maldives Tourism Awards

The government has announced that nominations are now open for the 2024 Maldives Tourism Awards, with the submission deadline set for 14 November.

The awards programme, designed to honour excellence in the Maldivian tourism sector, will present 23 awards across five categories. The categories cover a range of tourism-related businesses, including resorts, hotels, guesthouses, safaris, and travel agencies. Applications must be submitted online, with eligibility based on activities conducted from 1 June 2023 to 31 May 2024.

Last year, 59 awards were available, drawing 225 applications from 88 participants, with 31 awards ultimately granted. The Maldives Tourism Awards aim to recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and companies within the tourism industry, highlighting best practices and exceptional achievements across the sector.
