Three Days Remaining to Enrol Grade 1 Students in Male’ Public Schools

The Ministry of Education has issued a reminder to parents that the deadline to enrol Grade 1 students in Malé public schools will expire in three days.

In a press release issued today, the ministry highlighted that it has not yet received applications for some students, despite the 15 November 2024 deadline fast approaching. The ministry also clarified that students who apply within this period will receive priority, even if the deadline is extended further.

The ministry cautioned that applications submitted after the deadline may not guarantee placements in the same schools as siblings or other family members. Parents are therefore advised to be mindful of the deadline and ensure that enrolment applications are submitted by Friday.
