Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz shares the company’s commitment to contribute to the Maldives health sector under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The telecommunications company recently supplied fully customized medical equipment for the Air Ambulance service launched by the administration under its first 100-day pledges. Ooredoo supplied temporary equipment when the service first launched in March.

The company has previously donated three sea ambulances and is actively working to equip all health posts nationwide with medical kits. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ooredoo Maldives provided the government with an MVR 2.5 million grant and supported the community by offering free data packages to students and customers during lockdowns.
