The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSFD), in collaboration with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT), has opened registration for the “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through Digital Transformation” training programme, today.

The three-day course, scheduled from 14th to 16th December, aims to equip 100 women entrepreneurs with essential digital skills to enhance business growth and sustainability. Sessions will be conducted in English by APCICT experts, and participants who complete the programme will receive a certificate upon completion.

The programme’s focus areas include improving financial literacy, promoting business sustainability, and effectively using digital tools such as e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies. It specifically targets women operating micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), particularly those in the informal sector, addressing common challenges such as financial management and access to resources.

According to the MSFD, by the end of the training, participants will acquire practical skills in financial analysis, profit and loss management, and leveraging digital tools to streamline operations and increase revenue. This initiative aims to support women entrepreneurs and foster greater gender equality within the business sector.

Registration is now open on the MSFD website and will close on 7th December.
