Villa College Announces Scholarships Across Eight Categories 

Villa College has announced the availability of 16 scholarship opportunities for students pursuing various courses at the institution. The scholarships are offered across eight categories, aimed at supporting both local and international students.

Villa College Open Scholarship

• Two scholarships are available for students wishing to pursue one of Villa College’s master’s programmes. The scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance.

Villa College/Villa International High School Scholarship

• This scholarship is open to students currently studying A-levels at Villa International High School, or those who completed their A-levels there within the past two years. Two scholarships will be awarded, with priority given to those with strong A-level results.

Villa College Alumni Scholarship

• This scholarship is for Villa College graduates seeking to continue their studies with a master’s degree. Two scholarships will be awarded, based on academic achievement.

Scholarship for Individuals with Determination

• Designed for individuals with disabilities, this scholarship provides two opportunities to pursue a degree at Villa College. Eligible applicants must be listed on the National Disability Register or certified as disabled by a licensed medical professional. Selection will consider academic dedication despite disability-related challenges, community involvement, and overall educational achievement.

STEM and Healthcare Equity Scholarship

• This scholarship aims to promote gender diversity in typically male-dominated fields, such as nursing, computer science, and engineering. Two scholarships are available for degree programmes in these fields, with priority given to underrepresented genders in the respective professions.

Scholarship for Underprivileged Students

• This scholarship supports students who face financial challenges in pursuing higher education. Two scholarships are available, based on both financial need and academic performance.

International Student Category

• Two scholarships are available for international students pursuing a degree at Villa College. Applicants must submit an offer letter confirming admission to their chosen course, along with other required documents. Selection will be based on academic performance.

Applications for all scholarships can be submitted via the Villa College website. Scholarships are open to Maldivian students in all categories except for the International Student Scholarship. The deadline for applications is December 31st, 2024.
