Ooredoo to Hold Extraordinary General Meeting on 15th December

Ooredoo Maldives has announced plans to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Sunday, 15th December 2024, at 20:00 hrs. 

The meeting will be conducted virtually through the platform “FahiVote,” enabling shareholders to participate online.

Eligible shareholders, defined as those registered as of 14:00 hrs. on Wednesday, 27th November 2024, must pre-register or appoint a proxy via the online system “Infinity” (https://infinity.mv/) by 20:00 hrs. on Friday, 13th December 2024, to attend and participate in the meeting.

Shareholders will have one vote per share held, with electronic voting facilitated during the meeting. Detailed documents pertaining to the agenda are available on the company’s website at http://www.ooredoo.mv/investors/.

Registered participants and proxies attending the virtual meeting must log into “FahiVote” between 19:45 hrs. and 20:00 hrs. on the day of the EGM, using credentials provided by the Maldives Securities Depository (MSD). Login details will be shared with attendees by MSD at 15:00 hrs. on 15th December 2024.

This EGM aims to address significant corporate matters, including structural amendments to the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association and the potential transfer of shares in Techfin Maldives Pvt Ltd. Shareholders are encouraged to review the agenda and actively participate in the discussions.
