MET Office Issues Weather Advisory for the Weekend

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) has issued a weather advisory, urging the public to exercise caution due to adverse conditions expected over this weekend.

މޫސުމާބެހޭ އެންމެ ފަހުގެ ނިމުތު އަދި ސަމާލުތަކާގުޅޭ މައުލޫމާތު މިސާރވިސްގެ ވެބްސައިޓް އަދި ވައިބަރ ގުރޫޕުން ލިބިލައްވާނެ.

According to the latest forecasts, weather patterns will vary across different regions:

Friday:

• North Atolls: Rain and thunderstorms are anticipated.
• Central Atolls: Rain accompanied by strong winds is expected.
• Southern Atolls: Rain and strong winds are also forecast.

Saturday:

• North Atolls: Continued rain and thunderstorms are expected.
• Central Atolls: Rain with strong winds will persist.
• Southern Atolls: Rain and strong winds will continue.
