Namza and Nasreen Appointed to Public Service Media

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Aminath Namza and Ibrahim Nasreen to key leadership positions at Public Service Media (PSM), the state broadcaster. Namza will serve as Chairperson, while Nasreen has been named Managing Director.

The appointments were announced today via PCB’s official account on the social media platform X.

Nasreen, who has been with PSM for 14 years, previously held the position of Sales and Marketing Director. During his tenure, he also served as Chief Commercial Officer and E-Commerce Director. Nasreen holds a PhD in Business from Malaysia. His appointment follows the resignation of former Managing Director Mohamed Saeed last week, who stepped down citing health concerns.

Aminath Namza, the newly appointed Chairperson, was previously a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Cities, Local Government and Public Works.
