Three Immigrants Caught in a Fight, to be Deported

Maldives Immigration revealed yesterday they have started the deportation process of three immigrant workers caught in a physical fight on Friday at Artifical Beach in Male’.

Mohamed Shamaan Waheed, Controller General of Immigration, said on X, they were handed over to them by the police.

“We will not be providing additional chances to foreign workers who pose a risk to the public safety,” he said in Dhivehi.
