Youth Ministry Gives Inactive CSOs Until July to Complete Documents

Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art has decided to give an additional opportunity to activate the inactive organisations due to the non-submission of the required documents.
The additional opportunity will initially be given to 55 inactive civil society organisations registered from 1971 to 1991, according to the Ministry.

The deadline for submission of documents is 6 months (14:00 on Sunday, 20 July 2025).

The list of the first 55 civil society organisations to be given additional opportunities has been made public. If the association is not activated within this period, such associations will be dissolved as per the law.
Therefore, among the inactive associations, those who wish to complete the documents to activate the association are requested to email the documents to cso@youth.gov.mv.
