Fuvahmulah City Named as the Destination Partner for Rashu Expo

The Travel Guys announced on Sunday they have selected Fuvahmulah City as their Destination Partner for Rashu Expo 2025.
The expo dedicated to promoting local tourism in the Maldives is scheduled to be held from February 13-15, at Hulhumalé Central Park. According to The Travel Guys, the event will connect island councils, guesthouses, hotels, local businesses, and tourism stakeholders with both domestic and migrant travellers in the country.

“As the Official Destination Partner, Fuvahmulah City will take center stage, showcasing its vibrant traditions, historical sites, and signature activities, offering visitors a taste of the city’s unparalleled charm,” The Travel Guys said in a press release.
Fuvahmulah stands out in the Maldives not only for its one-island-one-city geography but also for its deep-rooted traditions, local craftsmanship, and culinary delights. The location is well known for being a diver’s paradise, especially the tiger shark diving sightings year round.
Dr Hussain Sunny Umar, Director of The Travel Guys, said he was excited to showcase everything the island has to offer.
