Aggression Defines Masculinity, Women Expected to be Obedient & Disciplined: HRCM Finds

HRCM’s study found that people see aggression as a defining quality of masculinity, meanwhile women are expected to be obedient and well-disciplined.
UNDP Maldives added to this stating that issues of gender especially problems of masculinity and misogyny, must be central in addressing societal problems that underlie violence, crime, imprisonment, drugs and family breakdown.
