WAMCO Adjusts Opening Hours of Waste Transfer Stations for Hajj Day and Eid-Al-Adha

Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO) has recently announced changes to the opening hours of several waste transfer stations and sites in observance of Hajj Day and Eid-Al-Adha. These alterations aim to accommodate the needs of the public during this festive period.

Effective immediately, the Male’ waste transfer station will be operational from 14:00 in the afternoon until midnight at 00:00. Similarly, the Hulhumale’ waste transfer station will follow the same operating hours, providing services during the afternoon until midnight.

The Villimale’ waste transfer station will be open from 14:00 in the afternoon until 22:00 at night, allowing residents to dispose of waste during these hours.

For the Thilafushi disposal site, the new opening hours will be from 14:00 in the afternoon until 17:00 in the evening.

In Addu City, waste management services will be available from 14:00 in the afternoon until 21:30 at night, giving residents the opportunity to utilize the facilities during these times.

Furthermore, the Hulhumeedhoo waste transfer station and the Fuvahmulah waste transfer station will both operate from 14:00 in the afternoon until 17:00 in the evening.

These adjustments in opening hours aim to ensure that waste management services provided by WAMCO are accessible to the public during the festive season. Residents are encouraged to take note of the updated timings and plan their waste disposal accordingly.
