Another batch of pilgrims, affiliated with Hajj Corporation Limited, is also expected to return today. The arrival of this second group will further contribute to the homecoming of devout Maldivians.
Subsequently, more Maldivian pilgrims are scheduled to return on the 10th and 14th of July, with additional groups anticipated to make their way back to the country.
Regrettably, four pilgrims from Maldives have passed away during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage. The authorities are actively monitoring the situation to provide necessary support and assistance to the affected individuals and their families.
It is worth noting that the Maldives had been allocated a quota of 1,000 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj, enabling a significant number of Maldivians to embark on this sacred journey.
