Projects on Maamendhoo Island
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih visited Maamendhoo Island in Gaafu Alifu Atoll last Thursday and marked the completion of the school extension.

The President officially opened the extension building during his ongoing visit to the atoll.
Well Trading Pvt. Ltd. constructed the two-classroom extension building at Maamendhoo School with the assistance of Japanese aid.
Projects on Dhaandhoo and Kolamaafushi
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated the completion of several infrastructure projects on Dhaandhoo and Kolamaafushi Islands in Gaafu Alifu Atoll on Thursday.

These projects include the water supply network on Dhaandhoo Island, the FENAKA Office, and the volleyball court on Kolamaafushi Island. The completion of these projects marks a significant step forward in the development of these islands.
The water supply network on Dhaandhoo Island was contracted to Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd. The newly constructed FENAKA Office on Kolamaafushi Island features modern facilities, including a reception area, manager’s room, and meeting room, and can accommodate up to 50 staff members.
The government funded the development of the volleyball court on Kolamaafushi Island.
