The Ministry of Education has announced its decision to assign the former premises of the Centre for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) to Aminiya School.
Aminiya School is set to undergo a transformation into a single-session educational facility, aligning with the government’s educational policy of transitioning schools to single-session classrooms. This transition is scheduled to coincide with the start of the second semester in January of the upcoming academic year.
The ministry has assured that the building previously occupied by CHSE will be officially handed over to Aminiya School, with necessary repairs to follow.
This move is part of the government’s broader policy to convert several schools in the Greater Male’ Region into single-session classrooms. The schools included in this initiative are Dharumavantha School, Izzuddin School, Salahuddin School in Hulhumale’ Phase II, and Muhyiddin School in Villingili.
