MTCC Launches Awareness Programme for RTL Bus Drivers

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has initiated an awareness programme for RTL bus drivers and drivers’ helpers, which will run until November 2nd. 

The programme’s objective is to provide information on traffic laws and regulations. The Maldives Police Service is collaborating on this initiative and will offer insights into road safety and guidance on safeguarding themselves and others while driving.

Additionally, participants will receive information on bus travel rules, how to prepare for extended bus journeys, and the appropriate actions to take in the event of an accident. 

This programme is a joint effort between the Road Police and MTCC to enhance safety in public transport, reduce service-related accidents, and ensure a safe working environment for drivers.
