Three Suspects in Custody Over Kidnapping in Male’

The Maldives Police Service (MPS)  have apprehended three individuals in connection with a reported kidnapping and assault incident in Male’.

The arrests, which took place last Thursday, were executed with the issuance of a court warrant.

The detained individuals comprise a 25-year-old man, a 26-year-old man, and a 27-year-old man. Subsequent to their arrest, the 25-year-old suspect has been remanded in custody for a period of 12 days, while the other two individuals are set to remain in custody for five days.

Authorities have refrained from disclosing specific details regarding the alleged crime at this stage of the investigation.
