The Election Commission of Maldives (ECM) has announced the mandatory requirement for individuals seeking online services to utilise the e-Faas platform via the ECM’s online portal.

These include re-registering for elections, becoming a polling station official, checking registered ballot boxes, and checking registered political parties.

e-Faas allows users to create a verified ID conveniently across multiple public sector services. Users can track and manage the sharing and maintenance of their personal information by official registrars.

The platform prioritises security by implementing biometrics and multi-factor authentication, ensuring the safeguarding of identity and data safety.
