Maldivian Has Initiated Scheduled Seaplane Flights to B. Fulhadhoo

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has initiated scheduled seaplane flights to B. Fulhadhoo. The airline will operate these flights on Sundays and Thursdays each week.
The decision to introduce seaplane operations aims to support tourism in Baa Atoll. Maldivian has stated its readiness to adjust the frequency of flights in response to demand. Island Aviation Managing Director Ibrahim Ilyas highlighted the significance of these flights in supporting the broader efforts of Maldivian to promote tourism in the Maldives. He emphasised that seaplane travel offers a distinct experience for tourists.

Commencing from B. Fulhadhoo, these flights will also provide convenience for passengers travelling to Fehendhoo and Goidhoo in Baa Atoll. The move aligns with Maldivian’s commitment to facilitating efficient transportation within the region.
