Seven People Relocated After Fire In Hiyaa Apartment

Seven individuals have been relocated to temporary accommodations after a fire in an apartment situated on the 11th floor of Hiyaa Tower 11 during the evening hours of Monday.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said it was providing assistance to the family after the fire rendered one of the two rooms uninhabitable.

An official from NDMA confirmed to MV+ that seven individuals have been relocated to temporary accommodations following the incident due to electrical issues caused by the fire. 

NDMA is now conducting an assessment to find out the extent of the damage to the apartment, the official added.
