This strategic initiative aims to strengthen the Maldives’ presence in the Indian market, which is one of the fastest-growing outbound tourism markets in the world. The roadshow will showcase the Maldives’ unique offerings, including pristine beaches, luxurious resorts and guesthouses, vibrant marine life, and rich cultural heritage.

The roadshow will feature presentations by key representatives from the industry, highlighting the latest tourism developments, travel packages, and exclusive deals tailored for Indian travellers. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with Maldivian travel industry stakeholders, including resort operators, guesthouses, liveaboards, hotel operators, tour companies, and airline representatives.

India remains a pivotal market for the Maldives, and this roadshow serves as an excellent platform to engage with partners in India, showcase the unparalleled hospitality, and strengthen Maldivian tourism offerings. The roadshow will be supported by the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO), India’s premier travel trade body representing over 1,800 tour operators across the country. The organisers have also engaged with the Indian High Commission in the Maldives for additional support.
