Fuvahmulah City Council Introduces New Online Services via oneGov Platform

The Fuvahmulah City Council has expanded its oneGov platform to include a wider range of essential services such as Birth Certificate Registration, Death Certificate Requests, and Local Residency Registration online.

This initiative marks a step in the Maldives’ digital transformation journey, streamlining government services online and eliminating the need for inter-island travel to physical government offices. 

By centralising these services digitally, the platform aims to improve information accessibility while reducing the inconvenience associated with traditional paper-based forms.

In addition to enhancing convenience, the round-the-clock availability of these digital services is anticipated to bolster anti-corruption efforts, reduce paper usage, and support environmental and economic sustainability initiatives.

The oneGov platform is now operational, reflecting Fuvahmulah City Council’s commitment to enhancing administrative efficiency and accessibility to essential services for its residents.
