Adhaalath Party Unveils Candidate Lineup for Parliamentary Elections

Adhaalath Party (AP) has disclosed its candidate lineup for the upcoming parliamentary elections, with party leader Imran Abdulla set to contest for the Makunudhoo seat.
In an announcement made on Sunday, AP revealed that after a thorough evaluation of the applicants vying to represent the party in the parliamentary elections, its advisory council has finalised the selection of four candidates.
Among the chosen contenders is Imran Abdulla, who previously held the position of home minister during the former administration. Notably, AP was a constituent of the coalition government from 2018 to 2023.
The other individuals endorsed by the party to contest in the elections are Hussain Saqeef, who will vie for the Vaikaradhoo seat; Ismail Hameed, slated to run for the Funadhoo seat; and Ismail Ali, who will compete for the Inguraidhoo seat.
