Bus Routes Temporarily Suspended for Presidential Swearing-in Ceremony

The Male’ Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has announced the temporary suspension of bus services on specific routes in the city due to the swearing-in ceremony of the President-elect Mohamed Muizzu.

In a statement released today, MTCC revealed its decision to halt services on the Orchid Route (R10) and Sosan Route (R11).

The suspension will be in effect from tomorrow until Sunday, coinciding with the scheduled ceremony.

Additionally, the Maldives Police Service (MPS) has taken measures to ensure the smooth execution of the event by deciding to close certain roads in the city during the specified period.
