Dead Body Found in Guesthouse Bathroom in Male’

A 59-year-old man was found dead in the bathroom of a guesthouse in Male’ yesterday.

According to the Maldives Police Service, reports were received around 2 p.m. regarding a man who had collapsed in the bathroom of a guesthouse located in the Henveiru ward of the capital. The individual was transported to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Abdulla Zaki from Bokarumaage, Hulhudhoo in Addu City.

Police have confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
