Dhiraagu Celebrates Staff Excellence at Annual Awards Gala

Dhiraagu has hosted their annual awards ceremony to recognise the contributions of the company’s long-serving staff and outstanding achievers. 

This event, held annually to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of staff and their contributions to the company, was held at CROSSROADS Maldives.

This year’s event was attended by the Chairperson of the Communications Authority of Maldives (CAM), Ilyas Ahmed,  Dhiraagu Board members, Dhiraagu CEO & MD, Ismail Rasheed as well as members of the  Dhiraagu’s leadership and staff.  

At this year’s annual awards, total 79 staff were honoured for their outstanding contributions to the company. 45 long-serving staff, who have been with the company for the last 10, 15, and 25  years, were recognised for their continued contributions over the years. 

Awards were also presented to 34 staff who have made notable strides to the company’s success – 15 Divisional  Merit Awards, 11 Special Merit Awards, 5 Innovation Awards and 2 Outstanding Leaders Awards. 

The most prestigious recognition of the night, the Chairperson’s Award, was awarded to Ismail  Samah, Engineer Core Systems. Samah is one of the most dedicated members of Dhiraagu team, whose technical expertise and tireless efforts contribute greatly to the company’s core system projects. 

Dhiraagu continues to empower their staff and celebrate their efforts to enriching the digital  experience of people living in the Maldives and enable them to ‘take on tomorrow.’
