Dhiraagu Gamers Guild Wraps Up First Tournament in the Atolls

Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG) has successfully wrapped up their inaugural ‘GameQuest – Addu Edition’ in Addu City, marking a significant milestone as their first-ever tournament in the atolls.
Held from 16 to 17 March 2025 at Sharafuddin School, the event attracted a large crowd of gaming enthusiasts, with over 100 participants participating in this two-day gaming festival.
Designed to engage the vibrant youth gaming community of the region, the tournament was open to both beginners and experienced gamers from Addu City. ‘GameQuest – Addu Edition’ featured the highly anticipated EA FC 25 tournament, where the winners walked away with a total prize pool of MVR 10,000.
In addition to the main tournament, the event also included popular gaming experiences like the GT7 racing simulation and Astro Bot, along with immersive VR simulation games that attracted a lot of attention from the attendees. To add more excitement, four lucky individuals were selected in a lucky draw and given cash prizes, further enhancing the experience for participants.
