As part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and fostering an inclusive community, Dhiraagu has continued its partnership with MOMS Aid to support the “Back to School  2025” programme. This initiative is dedicated to providing essential school supplies to children from some of society’s most vulnerable families.

The programme primarily aims to assist widowed and single mothers who lack family support,  including those with special needs, caring for sick children, or raising children with disabilities.  The school supply packs containing shoes, socks, uniforms, bags, and stationery will help ease the financial burden for families struggling to prepare their children for the new academic year.

Dhiraagu’s contribution focuses on supporting children in the Foundation Stage (Pre-school levels) as identified by MOMS Aid’s care list. Recognising the significance of early education, the initiative ensures these young learners have the necessary resources to start school confidently.

Additionally, Dhiraagu has extended its support to MOM Aid during the month of Ramadan. The  “Ramadan Aid” program is dedicated to providing essential food items to single mothers, mothers with special needs, and mothers caring for children with special needs and disabilities, ensuring they have the resources they need during Ramadan. Through both “Ramadan Aid” and “Back to  School”, Dhiraagu has assisted a total of 140 families.

MOMS Aid, a national charity dedicated to empowering women, particularly mothers, works to uplift disadvantaged families nationwide. Dhiraagu’s continued partnership with the organisation aligns with its mission to support children and mothers facing unique challenges,  fostering a more inclusive society.
