The highly anticipated Dhiraagu Thashibari movement is once again capturing the hearts of Maldivians this Ramadan with unmatched enthusiasm and community spirit.

This Ramadan, Dhiraagu teams have been spreading joy by hitting the streets and gifting  Dhiraagu dishes to people of all ages. The spirit of giving does not stop there. Those who receive these delicious gifts eagerly pass them on, creating a heartwarming chain of generosity that keeps the tradition alive and thriving throughout the month.

The ThashiBari Movement, launched by Dhiraagu in 2017, aimed to revive the cherished  Maldivian tradition of sharing food between homes. Today, the movement has become so beloved that Ramadan feels incomplete without it. Inspired by Dhiraagu’s example,  other companies and organisations have embraced the initiative, hosted food-sharing activities and amplified the spirit of generosity and community throughout this holy month.

“Dhiraagu continues to bring various activities and valuable offers to the public in connection with the Ramadan month, making considerable efforts to revive Maldivian culture and traditions,” Dhiraagu stated in their statement.
