“Dhivehi Film Awards 10” Postponed

“Dhivehi Film Awards 10” (2019 – 2022) initially scheduled to take place today has been rescheduled, according to National Center for the Arts (NCA).
In their announcement, the NCA said that the re-scheduled date will be revealed at a later date. The NCA also stated that currently, they are working on evaluating the films submitted.
The Dhivehi Film Awards are an annual event that celebrates and recognizes achievements in the Maldivian film industry.
These awards honor various aspects of filmmaking, including acting, direction, writing, and technical contributions. They provide a platform to showcase and appreciate the talent and creativity within the local film community.
The NCA is a government body that is aimed to play a pivotal role in nurturing and promoting the artistic landscape of the Maldives.
