However, several other locations, including Singapore, Thailand, Abu Dhabi, and Japan, have not yet attained the required number of registered voters to establish polling stations.
The ECM has set the deadline for online re-registration as 11:59pm today. Citizens are encouraged to re-register at their earliest convenience to ensure their participation in the electoral process.
For those who prefer physical re-registration, the deadline remains fixed on Sunday, 5th August.
The ECM has outlined its intention to publish the information of re-registered candidates on its official website and to share this data with political parties.
Given this extended registration period, the commission earnestly appeals to citizens to avoid procrastination and complete the re-registration process promptly, rather than waiting until the last minute.
