Eid Prayers to Be Held in Large Congregations and Mosques Across Male’

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced that Eid prayers in the Male’ area will take place in large congregations, as well as in mosques.
Arrangements for the prayers will be made in Male’, Vilimale’, and Hulhumale’, the ministry confirmed.
- In Male’, Eid prayers will be held at Maafannu Stadium.
- In Hulhumale’, the prayers will take place at the Synthetic Track and Cricket Stadium.
- In Vilimale’, the prayers will be held at the football grounds.
The following mosques in Male’ will host Eid prayers:

- Masjidul Maliki Salman (Salman Mosque)
- Masjidul Furqan
- Masjiduh Noor
- Masjiduh Shaheed Ali
- Thoiba Mosque
- Dhunburi Mosque
- Fandiyaaru Mosque
- Bandaara Mosque
- Salahudheen Mosque
- Jalaaludheen Mosque
- Ibrahim Mosque
- Iskandhar Mosque
- Temporary Mosque at Boduge
- Ran Mosque
- Faifuhey Mosque
- Maafannu New Mosque
- Mosques for Eid prayers in Vilimale’:

- Masjiduh Sheikh Gasim Bin Mohamed Al Thani (Phase 1)

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Ministry has confirmed that Eid prayers will be held in all mosques that conduct Friday prayers in the Male’ area.
The ministry has urged the public to perform ablution at home before coming for prayers and to bring their own prayer mats and water bottles.
According to the Islamic calendar, Fitr Eid this year will be observed on March 31.
