First Lady Explores Soong Qingling Science and Culture Centre

First Lady Sajidha Mohamed toured the Soong Qingling Science and Culture Centre for Young People in Bayi Lake in Yuyuantan in Beijing, China, today.
As part of the visit, representatives from the Soong Qingling Science and Culture Centre for Young People offered a comprehensive introduction to the facility. The First Lady embarked on a tour, actively engaging and inquiring about key areas within the centre.
Established in May 1982, the Soong Qing Ling Foundation, dedicated to the late honorary president of the People’s Republic of China, Soong Qing Ling, oversees the operations of the Science and Culture Centre for Young People. The foundation’s commitment to nurturing the intellectual and cultural growth of the youth was evident in the various programs and exhibits showcased during the visit.
Accompanying the President, the First Lady’s exploration of the Soong Qingling Science and Culture Centre underscores a mutual commitment to strengthening international ties, emphasizing shared initiatives in science and culture for youth development.
