First Lady Opens Community Centre in Huraa

First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed opened the community centre “Hura Ekuveringe Hiyaa” while visiting the island.

During the inauguration ceremony, the First Lady highlighted the close bond among the island residents and expressed hope that the centre would further deepen these bonds.

In her speech, she expressed the importance of physical interactions in developing interpersonal relationships in today’s digital age. She stated that the development of ‘The Hiyaa’ is a crucial step in achieving that goal.
