RDC will oversee the development of two healthcare facilities: N. Velidhoo Hospital, with a budget of MVR 108.3 million, and ADh. Fenfushi Health Centre, allocated MVR 26.8 million. Both projects are required to be completed within one and a half years.
MTCC has been tasked with constructing new healthcare buildings on five islands. These include HDh. Nellaidhoo Health Centre (MVR 11.2 million), Sh. Milandhoo Hospital (MVR 110.9 million), K. Thulusdhoo Hospital (MVR 110.7 million), AA. Rasdhoo Hospital (MVR 185.6 million), and GA. Villingili Hospital (MVR 185.6 million).
Fenaka Corporation has been assigned three projects: B. Kudarikilu Health Centre (MVR 7.6 million), GA. Kondey Health Centre (MVR 6.8 million), and GDh. Nadella Health Centre (MVR 6.8 million).
The agreement-signing ceremony was attended by Members of Parliament representing the constituencies where these projects will be undertaken.
This latest initiative follows the awarding of contracts last week for the construction of new hospital and health centre buildings on nine islands, at a total cost of MVR 627 million.
