The Road Development Corporation (RDC) has secured the contract for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and survey of roads in Villimale’.

The signing of the agreement took place during a press conference at the Ministry of Construction today, marking a significant development for the 5.6 km road project in Villimale’.

He underscored the importance of engaging with the residents to ensure that the roads are constructed to the highest standards, contributing to the overall pleasant environment of Villimale’.

The project, which includes a topographic survey, detailed design, and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the roads, has been awarded to RDC at a cost of MVR 1.79 million. The corporation is expected to complete the project within 120 days.
