The government has extended the registration deadline for the Maldives Expo 2025 to April 15. The previous registration deadline was March 31.

The exhibition, titled “Dhivehi Ufehduntherikamuge Maurazu 2025”, is organised jointly by the Ministry of Economic Development and Commerce and the Business Centre Corporation (BCC). It will take place in Hulhumale’ Central Park from May 23 to 31. The expo aims to promote and encourage local artisans in their respective fields and provides an opportunity for them to showcase the products of Maldivian artists in a central location. Additionally, the expo will feature activities for children and entertainment for people of all age groups.

Last month, BCC increased the number of products participants could showcase at the expo as well.

Additionally, products from other countries will be showcased in a separate “district” of the expo. The expo is divided into five districts, based on the products and experiences available to visitors. The districts featuring local products are the Creative Economy District, Digital and Innovation District, Entertainment District, and Marketplace District.

The expo is organised jointly by the Ministry of Economic Development and Commerce and Business Centre Corporation (BCC). In November 2025, the website of the expo was launched, and participants were invited to participate.
