Gov’t Invites Investors to Develop an Eco-tourism Project in HA. Baarah

The Ministry of Tourism has invited eligible investors, local or foreign, to submit their interest to develop a tourist hotel on the 71,832sqm plot of land in Baarah, Haa Alifu Atoll.
According to the Ministry’s tweet, this bid is part of President Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to develop eco-tourism on the island.
In accordance with HEP's pledge to launch an eco-tourism project in H.A. Baarah, MoT invites eligible investors to submit their interest to develop a Tourist Hotel.

Interested parties can attend the information session, which will be held virtually via Zoom at 1000hrs on 28th October 2024 (Monday), and submit proposals at 1000hrs on 05th December 2024 (Thursday).
To join the information session, send an email along with your name, email address and phone number to planning@tourism.gov.mv before 1200hrs on 27th October 2024 (Sunday).
The application form to purchase the bid document can be obtained from the Ministry’s website (www.tourism.gov.mv). The bid document will be available to purchase from 22nd October 2024 till 04th December 2024 (Except government holidays), between 0900hrs – 1300hrs, from the Ministry of Tourism (Velaanage 5th Floor) reception, or via email.
