Islamic Minister Announces Plan to Install Televisions on All Floors of Islamic Centre

Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed unveiled plans to install televisions on every floor of the Islamic Centre, broadcasting the imam’s sermons.

Minister Shaheem shared the details in a post on X, revealing that 98-inch smart TV screens would soon adorn all levels of the Islamic Centre. The generous donation of these televisions comes from an anonymous benefactor.

Highlighting the potential impact, Minister Shaheem expressed optimism that the imam’s physical presence on screen would enhance the attentiveness of prayer-goers during sermons. 

Moreover, to ensure inclusivity, the televisions will feature a sign language interpreter for the benefit of all attendees.
