According to the Ministry, the primary aim of the conference is to enhance the services provided to pilgrims and to gather feedback from local groups responsible for organising Hajj and Umrah trips.

Islamic Minister Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed stated that more than 60 registered Umrah groups have been invited to participate. The event will also provide a platform to educate participants on the latest regulations introduced by the Saudi government concerning the pilgrimages.

This Hajj and Umrah Conference follows a series of similar events organised by the Ministry, including gatherings for local Islamic scholars and imams.
