MACL Distributes Annual Bonus to Employees

The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), which operates Velana International Airport, has awarded an annual bonus of MVR 25,000 to its employees. 

This marks the third consecutive year that the company has provided the bonus. The payment, which was included with employees’ monthly salaries on Sunday, was given to all staff members who worked throughout the entirety of the previous year.

Employees who were employed for at least six months are eligible to receive a prorated bonus, as outlined in the company’s policy. However, those dismissed last year under disciplinary action are not entitled to the payment.
