Maldives Zakat House Revises Fitr Zakat Distribution Timings
Maldives Zakat House has announced changes to the previously scheduled distribution hours for Fitr Zakat in staple foods, which will take place at Iskandhar School in Malé.
According to a statement released yesterday referencing Notice No. (IUL)496-B2/496/2025/6, the revised schedule adjusts the timing for 28th March to 14:00 – 16:30 and 21:00 – 23:00, while distribution on 29th March will now be held from 10:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 15:00.

This revision follows the initial announcement made earlier, which had outlined different distribution hours. The collection of Fitr Zakat in staple foods for Malé began on 22nd March at Salahudheen Hall in Majeedhiya School. It concluded on 27th March, allowing individuals to contribute staple foods instead of monetary payments.
Maldives Zakat House reiterated that the distribution remains available to individuals registered under the poor people registry in Malé.
