Maldives Zakat House to Begin Distribution of Fitr Zakat in Staple Foods Tomorrow
Maldives Zakat House has announced that the distribution of Fitr Zakat paid in staple foods will commence tomorrow.
The distribution will take place at Iskandhar School and will be provided to individuals registered under the poor people registry in Malé.

The distribution will be conducted on 28th March 2025 from 14:00 to 16:30 and from 21:30 to 23:00. On 29th March 2025, it will continue from 10:00 to 12:00, 13:00 to 15:00, and 16:00 to 17:00.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs had previously announced that the collection of Fitr Zakat in staple foods for the Malé area began on Saturday, 22nd March. As in previous years, individuals were given the option to fulfil their Fitr Zakat obligations by contributing staple foods instead of monetary payments.
The collection took place at Salahudheen Hall in Majeedhiya School from 22nd March to 27th March.
