The board aims to strengthen MATATO’s role in representing the interests of travel agents and tour operators while enhancing collaboration with key stakeholders in the sector.

The AGM also served as an opportunity to reflect on the previous term’s accomplishments, evaluate ongoing projects, and set strategic objectives for the coming year. Discussions highlighted the importance of MATATO’s initiatives in promoting the Maldives as a global travel destination and fostering cooperation between industry players to advance the nation’s tourism sector.
