Member Dismissed From HDC’s Board of Directors

The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) said today that Mohamed Waheed, a member of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) ‘s Board of Directors, has been dismissed from his post.

PCB did not disclose further details regarding Waheed’s dismissal.

Waheed was appointed as a member of the HDC’s Board of Directors in December 2023. Before that appointment, Waheed had worked with Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) and the Ministry of Housing as well. According to the HDC website, Waheed was proactive in his duties and was known for his logical approach to the challenges he faced.
