MET Office Issues White Alert from Lhaviyani Atoll to Laamu Atoll

The Maldives Meteorological Service (MMS) has issued a white alert for the region spanning from Lhaviyani Atoll to Laamu Atoll.

This alert is in effect from 13:15 hours to 19:00 hours, today. The forecast warns of heavy rain and thunderstorms with gusts of 40 mph.
